About this event

Nashville based Teach For America alumni and corps members of color are convening and launching The Collective, a group dedicated to connecting alumni and corps members.

Join us for the launch social event to build community amongst our alumni and corps members of color. This is not a fundraising event. It is an event dedicated to building connections and community.

Host Committee:

  • Jack Berk (Nashville 2017), IT Project Manager at HCA Healthcare
  • Meili Powell (Memphis 2017), Advocacy & Partnerships Manager at Education Trust TN
  • Arshia Saiyed Freeman (Nashville 2010), Senior Director of Impact at TN SCORE

The event will also include a brief panel discussion with three of our local TFA Community Members:

  • Robert Wallace (Nashville 2013), Executive Officer, Resource Strategy for MNPS
  • Natalia Parra (Nashville 2021), Spanish Teacher, KIPP Nashville Collegiate High School
  • MaKenzie Mosby (Memphis 2017), Executive Assistant for Policy & Research for The Tennessee State Senate
